Procurement Executive
Location: Tallaght (with occasional travel across Ireland and the UK)
Reporting to Head of Procurement
Overview
We're looking for a detail-driven Procurement Executive to join an expanding team for an established wholesale distribution business. If you have 2–3 years' experience in procurement or supply chain, a passion for efficiency, and a desire to make a real impact within a fast-paced, growing organisation, we'd love to meet you.
In this role, you'll be a key player in the procurement operations, supporting everything from sourcing and supplier management to stock control and data management in SAP. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure supply chain runs smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities
8. Support the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and purchasing to supplier coordination and delivery.
9. Manage stock reordering to ensure optimal inventory levels.
10. Prepare and maintain purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency.
11. Assist in supplier negotiations to secure the best value in cost, quality, and delivery.
12. Track supplier performance and assist in ongoing evaluations and reviews.
13. Ensure all procurement activities align with internal policies and industry regulations.
14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, service, and warehouse operations.
15. Accurately manage procurement data using SAP
Requirements
16. 2–3 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management.
17. Working towards or already hold a procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS, IIPMM).
18. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
19. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
20. A team player with strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
21. Self-starter who thrives when working independently.
Hours 9am to 5pm - Hybrid (after 6 months). 1 day from home
