Job Role: Therapeutic Area Associate - Clinical Laboratory Sciences
This is a role that involves collaboration with the study team, business partners, and therapeutic teams to develop clinical laboratory, diagnostic, and biomarker strategies at the trial level.
* Deliver comprehensive clinical laboratory, ECG, imaging, sample storage, and other clinical diagnostic support as needed for assigned trials.
* Provide expertise and consultation relating to clinical laboratory, ECG, imaging, sample storage, and other diagnostic biomarkers, including assay development and validation.
* Partner with the sourcing organization to follow the proper sourcing strategy for vendor assignment.
Key responsibilities also include project management, people development, maintaining accurate budget information, and defined protocol testing in the laboratory and diagnostic tool. Maintaining inspection readiness at all times by maintaining a complete eTMF at a trial level is also required.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a science or related life sciences field is required, along with prior laboratory experience or knowledge of laboratory testing. Strong self-management skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills, communication skills (verbal and written), and strong organizational skills are also necessary.
