Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Board of Directors.
The role is voluntary, with members required to become directors of the company. Regular attendance at board meetings is expected, where you will share your knowledge and skills with other members. Meetings are held 10 times a year, plus an Annual General Meeting (AGM), which can be either in-person or remote.
You will commit to participating actively in committees, including initiating strategic assignments and building effective relationships with other board members to ensure successful operation of the board.
Key Responsibilities
Duties:
* To provide guidance and mentoring on financial matters to management and the charity's existing leadership team;
* To support staff and external accountants in preparing organisational financial statements;
* To approve, monitor and review performance against targets and budgets;
