Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Junior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
This role is primarily a day time role.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu items
* Support head chef in service, weekly planning, stock management and staff training
* Prep all food items as per daily requirement
* Assist with daily baking for inhouse desserts
* Read and manage dockets on the pass to ensure timely and accurate service
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
* Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper storage and handling of food items.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
* HACCP trained
* Previous kitchen experience is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities.
* A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
