Returns Manager – Dublin Airport

We're currently hiring a Returns Manager to oversee vehicle returns at Dublin Airport. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on operational efficiency, staff development, and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As the Returns Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing all aspects of the vehicle return process. From handling customer queries to coordinating vehicle inspections and damage assessments, you'll ensure a seamless experience for both customers and your team. You'll lead and motivate a dedicated returns team while working cross-functionally with other departments to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver outstanding customer service and take ownership of any issues, ensuring swift resolution and customer satisfaction
2. Lead the return operations at multiple airport depots, managing vehicle check-ins and damage inspections efficiently
3. Monitor staff performance and ensure all team members follow established return and reporting procedures
4. Train, develop, and mentor a team of returns agents, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture
5. Plan staffing schedules to meet return volume demands at all times
6. Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of vehicle condition, damages, and repairs
7. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement using KPIs and operational metrics
8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely vehicle processing and effective space management
9. Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards at all times
10. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
What You'll Need
11. 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in vehicle rental, logistics, or a similar industry
12. Strong leadership and team-building skills
13. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service abilities
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general tech-savviness
15. A hands-on, self-starter mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
16. High attention to detail with a drive for continuous improvement
17. Full, clean driving licence required
