Job Role Summary
Our organization is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Junior Legal Secretary. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates with precision.
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, letters, and reports with attention to detail.
* Organize and maintain physical and digital files in a secure and accessible manner.
* Assist in filing legal documents with courts and government agencies in accordance with relevant regulations.
* Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.
* Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda with accuracy.
* Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and case updates in a clear and concise manner.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and logistical support for legal staff as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum Leaving Certificate with additional courses completed in legal studies or office administration is preferred.
* Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role is considered an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent typing skills are essential.
* Strong data entry and document management skills are also highly valued.
