Position Details;
Role: RSOC Team Lead

Location: Dublin 2

Schedule: 45 hours per week - Monday - Friday

Role Type: Permanent / Full Time

Position Summary
The SOC Lead serves as the primary tactical supervisor and bridge between the Security Leadership team and the frontline Security Operations Center (SOC). This role provides high-level oversight of daily operations, ensuring the protection of life and property through proactive monitoring, team coordination, and crisis management.

The Lead is responsible for the "nerve center" of the facility, leveraging advanced security technology (CCTV, Access Control, and Intelligence databases) to deliver actionable security insights. Beyond technical execution, the SOC Lead acts as a mentor, fostering a professional, teamwork-focused environment. They ensure all personnel maintain the highest standards of alertness, grooming, and discretion while assisting in the development of operational processes, intelligence products, and sensitive investigations.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operational Oversight;
Supervision & Mentorship: Provide onsite guidance to SOC officers, fostering a proactive "protection of life/property" mindset.

Training & Onboarding: Assist in the professional development of new hires through coaching, mentoring, and delivering security-specific training modules.

Performance Management: Provide regular feedback to vendor management regarding contract operator performance to ensure service level agreements are met.

Logistics & Scheduling: Assist the SOC Manager in preparing duty rosters to ensure 24/7/365 operational coverage, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Process Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational metrics, and "best practice" communication vehicles.

Intelligence & Investigation

Intelligence Production: Take an active role in drafting Intelligence Products and Information Documents for the Security Leadership team.

Sensitive Inquiries: Assist in carrying out confidential investigations under the direction of management, maintaining a discreet distance from general staff to avoid being compromised.

Global Awareness: Evaluate global incidents and travel notifications that may impact the client's offices or people, escalating appropriately to business units.

Statistical Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly statistical reports for external stakeholders, detailing incident trends and system performance.

Technical & Facility Security

Advanced Monitoring: Supervise the monitoring of CCTV, fire alarms, door alarms, and duress systems; ensure all tools are functioning correctly and report technical failures.

Access Control & Patrols: Oversee the authorization of visitors/contractors, monitor radio traffic for local and remote sites, and ensure building open/lock-up procedures are followed.

Incident Response: Serve as the first escalation point for emergency events; manage immediate dispatch and the information-gathering process.

Proactive Prevention: Enforce a "deter and prevent" strategy regarding unauthorized access, theft, and property damage through regular patrol audits and constant alertness.

Professionalism & Compliance

Standards of Conduct: Ensure all staff are in full, clean, and pressed uniform (including PPE) and maintain a "positive, enthusiastic, and authoritative" demeanor.

Client Relations: Act as a liaison between all departments, providing a friendly and professional telephone/reception manner while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current regulations for operating a central monitoring station and all relevant fire procedures.

Skills And Qualifications
The following technical, interpersonal and management skills and attributes are essential for this role, but are not limited to:

* Exposure to access management control systems
* Experience in Travel Tracker or a similar platform
* Experience in NC4 Risk Center or similar
* Knowledge of Security Systems procedures
* 5+ years of RSOC/SOC/ARC or similar experience
* 5+ years of Supervisory and or Management experience
* Hold current PSA

Certification / Training
Candidates must have / conduct formal Security training and hold a valid security permit.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Google applications for example;

* Other Management Support Applications

Communication Skills
The following communication skills are required;

English level B2 (Oral & Written)

* Having previous experience of working within the security industry.
* Having Strong People Management Skills, including previous managerial experience.
* Being Team-oriented.
* Being highly motivated, with a positive energy and enthusiasm for the Company, and for the role.
* Strong Leadership skills, which are demonstrated on an ongoing basis, including leading by example.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Being able to work effectively on one's own initiative.
* Being highly organised: Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to deadlines.
* Having strong attention to detail.
* Having a proactive approach, constantly seeking improvements in processes and technologies, including sourcing new technologies/work practices as may be required for business improvement from time to time.
* Being professional and behaving with integrity at all times
