The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Breakfast Chef in Gormanston, Co Meath.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated kitchen team in a luxury hotel setting, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality breakfast service while supporting lunch preparation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Take direction from department managers and assist in monitoring food quality and hygiene standards.
* Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
* Support fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate hygiene systems during food preparation and storage.
* Contribute to the production of food items to the best of your ability.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and to the agreed standards.
* Be familiar with the menu and understand responsibilities in accordance with it.
* Ensure excellent food hygiene practices throughout the food chain, from storage to preparation and service.
* Avoid unnecessary wastage by observing proper control methods.
* Ensure kitchen equipment is in working order and report any maintenance issues.
* Reporting to the Head Chef, assist in preparing and serving breakfast and supporting lunch preparation.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar breakfast or kitchen role.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene practices.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Team player with strong communication skills.
* Candidates must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
* Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
Hours of Work
* 4 days per week:
o Sunday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
o Monday – Wednesday: 5:30am – 2:00pm
Salary & Benefits
* €17.00-€19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
