Finance Operations Lead
We are seeking a seasoned accountant to assume financial leadership for a select group of clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio and leverage technical expertise to drive client performance and reporting quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of the finance function for a portfolio of SME clients, providing strategic support and guidance on operational and financial matters.
* Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cashflows to inform business decisions and optimize resource allocation.
* Advise clients on process improvements, financial controls, and commercial strategies to enhance their overall performance.
* Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors to maintain accurate records and minimize risks.
* Implement or optimize accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
* Report regularly to leadership on client performance, risks, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
We require an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant with minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in practice-trained or multi-client environments. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
