HSQE Advisor (Health, Safety, Quality Environment) ?? Location: Meath ?? Contract: Permanent | Site-based with travel Salary Range ?? €45,000 – €65,000 gross per year (˜ €3,750 – €5,400 gross per month ) Final offer will depend on qualifications, industry exposure and level of responsibility.
About the Role A leading infrastructure and utilities contractor operating on national framework projects is seeking a HSQE Advisor to join its Smart Energy Utilities division.
This role is ideally suited to an early-career or graduate-level HSEQ professional who is looking to build a long-term career within a well-established and fast-growing organisation delivering critical infrastructure projects across Ireland.
What's on Offer Competitive salary within the €45k–€65k range 23 days annual leave Paid sick leave after probation Structured Career Pathway Programme Strong focus on training, mentoring and professional development Opportunity to progress within a growing organisation Voluntary pension scheme (post-probation) 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Health insurance discount Life assurance Industry-standard HSEQ training Key Responsibilities Carry out site-based HSEQ audits across multiple projects Assess compliance with company policies, procedures and site rules Support Project Managers, Supervisors and the H S Manager on safety matters Conduct joint audits with project and management teams Communicate audit findings and support closure of corrective actions Assist with accident and incident investigations Review risk assessments, including site-specific RAMS Participate actively in HSEQ meetings Assist in the preparation of Health Safety Plans, emergency plans, briefings and method statements Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) Conduct additional audits such as fleet and yard inspections Support inductions and HSEQ training for new employees and subcontractors Requirements Essential Relevant Health Safety qualification Safe Pass Full EU driving licence Good understanding of HSE principles and practices Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills Desirable Previous experience in civils, utilities or infrastructure projects Exposure to site-based HSEQ roles Wymagania Oczekujemy Oferujemy
