Our client, a top 5 Irish law firm, seeks to recruit an ambitious solicitor for its top-tier Energy & Infrastructure practice in Dublin. The team advises on Ireland’s most cutting-edge energy and natural resources projects. This is a standout opportunity for an energy law solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE to grow within a team known for market-leading work, deep sector expertise, and a collaborative culture. The role would also suit candidates from a finance or construction background who are interested in pivoting to energy law.
Responsibilities
* Advise on major energy and natural resources projects, including offshore wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen, and interconnectors.
* Act for a client base of sponsors, developers, financial institutions, and government entities on project development, M&A, financing, and regulatory matters.
* Work on the full lifecycle of energy transactions, from structuring and negotiation through to execution and post-completion.
* Draft and negotiate complex energy law contracts such as PPAs, JOAs, EPCs, and financing agreements.
* Stay ahead of Irish and EU energy regulation, supporting clients in navigating a fast-moving and highly regulated sector.

Candidate Profile
* 1-4 years' post-qualification experience as an energy law solicitor, ideally within a large or mid-sized firm in Ireland, the UK, or in another Common Law jurisdiction.
* Demonstrable experience in energy law, project finance, construction, or general finance transactions within the energy or natural resources sectors.
* Commercial mindset with strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Interest in cutting-edge energy technologies and the future of energy infrastructure.
