Responsibilities
Emergency response: Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms and emergencies, containing and resolving problems while minimising risk to people and property.
Surveillance monitoring: Monitor cameras and alarm systems, investigate suspicious activity or unauthorised access.
Patrol and inspection: Conduct regular patrols, enforce security policies and identify vulnerabilities.
Access control: Manage access to restricted areas, issue badges, keys and enforce protocols.
Reporting: Document all incidents, observations and actions in accurate, timely reports.
Collaboration: Coordinate with security staff, law‑enforcement, emergency responders and stakeholders.
Training and education: Stay informed of best practices, emerging threats and participate in training programs.
Parking management: Oversee parking permits, visitor parking and vendor traffic flow.
Administrative tasks: Monitor security email, manage lost property, support company events and escort requests.
Other duties: Conduct mail screening with X‑ray and other equipment; support additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferable prior experience in security, law enforcement or a related field; crisis management and emergency response expertise desired.
Physical fitness to stand, walk and respond swiftly; CPR and first aid certification may be required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, remaining calm under stress.
Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Team player with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

PSA licence desirable (not essential – course and licence provided)
