About Your New Job
* Program SMT Equipment: Program all SMT equipment, including Printer, Pick and Place Machine, and AOI Machine.
* Develop Oven Profiles: Develop oven profiles and program the oven for optimal performance.
* Setup PTH Processes: Setup PTH manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Customer Interface: Interface with customers for ideal test equipment/program setup and work on NPI projects to improve manufacturability.
* Continuous Improvement: Incorporate continuous improvement activities based on business objectives and cost reduction goals.
* Documentation and Training: Prepare assembly documentation and work instructions, and train operatives in assembly procedures.
* Technical Support: Provide technical support to production and support the maintenance team in designing planned maintenance routines.
* Process Controls: Implement process controls such as FMEA and Control Plan as part of the change management process.
* Health and Safety: Adhere fully to all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
* ESG Support: Support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) function and agenda within the business.
* Improvement Projects: Participate in improvement projects and other reasonable tasks as outlined by the supervisor/manager.
What Skills You Need
* Educational Background: L8 qualification in a manufacturing-related engineering discipline or equivalent.
* Industry Experience: Up to 4 years of experience working with engineering bill of materials and drawings.
* Flexibility: Flexibility to undertake overtime or work on weekends according to business needs.
* SMT Knowledge: Demonstrable working knowledge of SMT components and processes.
* Desirable Skills: Experience with build planning, stakeholder management, and working in a highly regulated environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Target-Driven Experience: Previous experience in a target-driven environment.
