The Purpose of the Role:
To raise awareness and enhance the profile of the client’s brands within a specific territory by achieving key result areas and targets.
This will be achieved through stock management, order auditing, and merchandising, thereby increasing product availability, promotional compliance, and point-of-sale accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to a defined retail call schedule
* Monitor product availability
* Increase distribution and availability in stores by implementing national and local planograms and promotions
* Record and submit data daily in an accurate and timely manner
* Understand and identify customer needs
* Communicate effectively with store staff and colleagues
* Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
* Follow the call sequence and activity brief, making necessary changes in each outlet
* Recognize objectives and tailor in-store activities to meet them
* Prioritize, plan, organize, and manage time efficiently
* Take responsibility for personal development and improvement
* Plan how to achieve personal targets and contribute to team success
* Develop strategies to meet client targets and KPIs
* Manage territory call file and journey plan effectively
* Provide competitor feedback
* Generate new ideas and improve working methods
* Strive to maintain high performance standards for customers
* Operate efficiently to complete all tasks
* Undertake additional duties as assigned by your line manager
Qualifications and Skills:
* Full clean driving license
* Understanding of the grocery market and consumer activities
* Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and customers
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially listening
* Proactive with initiative-taking ability
* Excellent time management skills
* Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Internet
* Attention to detail
* Focus on task completion
* Interest and ability to promote and sell products
