Job Title: Process Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Process Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for the commissioning of water treatment equipment at municipal and industrial levels.
About the Role:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously in various water treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, clarification, filtration, UV disinfection, and chlorine disinfection.
* Design and recommend solutions to engineering problems.
* Handle chemicals, high-pressure systems, and instrumentation analysis and calibrations.
* Carry out laboratory analysis, including TSS, Turbidity, pH, UVT analysis using Hach spectrophotometer, and jar testing.
* Propose and adjust chemical dose rates to optimize the process for successful performance testing.
* Handle sludge treatment methods, technologies, and processes.
* Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain air compressors, sludge pumps, and chemical pumps of various types.
* Commission pneumatic systems and setting up various types of control valves and flowmeters.
* Capture data, using various tools, and develop dashboards for easy data analysis.
* Write standard operating procedures, manuals, and training documents, and be able to train clients.
* Carry out quality control reviews of design documents, functional descriptions, and control philosophies.
* Lead kickoff meetings with customers and managers to align project plans and sales commitments.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in chemical, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of field or applied research laboratory experience in chemical process.
* Good understanding of water treatment and wastewater treatment processes.
* Proficient with PLC and SCADA systems.
* Worksite experience: good practical knowledge in electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and control, or likes to develop it.
* Language spoken: English, oral and written.
* Training and experience in working at height, and in confined spaces using permit and LOTO systems.
