The Role in Brief
We are currently seeking a
Junior Web Developer/Programmer
to join our client team in New Wapping Street, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1. This 3-month contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of web-based solutions, working with modern technologies and following best practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean, efficient code and an ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid working environment.
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum of
2+ years' experience
as a Web Developer/Programmer
* Diploma or degree qualification (field of study flexible)
* High proficiency in English, both verbal and written
Key Deliverables
* Develop and test a pipeline for delivering data and JavaScript assets to a public-facing website
* Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in line with best practices
* Collaborate with teams to identify and solve complex problems
* Produce and maintain documentation, resources, and templates
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, including CI/CD, automated testing, and version control
Key Skills & Competencies
* Strong knowledge of
JavaScript, HTML, CSS
(experience with
R
is an advantage)
* Experience with
API requests/responses
and
JSON/XML
data formats
* Proficiency in
JS asset management
for websites
* Ability to clearly document technical designs and communicate with stakeholders
* Experience with
CI/CD pipelines

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
