General / Finishing Foreman

Overview
We are working with a leading Tier 1 Contractor who are delivering high-profile commercial and residential projects across Cork and Munster. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced General / Finishing Foreman to join their site team.
This role will suit someone with a strong eye for detail, proven experience bringing projects through the final stages, and the ability to drive quality and programme on complex builds.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all finishing works on‑site, ensuring high‑quality delivery
Coordinate and manage subcontractors during the final phases of projects
Ensure all works are completed to specification, on time, and within budget
Snagging, de‑snagging, and handover management
Liaise closely with Site Manager, Project Manager, and design teams
Maintain health & safety standards across all finishing activities
Drive programme deadlines and ensure efficient sequencing of trades
Ensure excellent standards across high‑spec commercial and residential builds
Requirements
Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or General Foreman on large‑scale projects
Background working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractors preferred
Experience across commercial and/or residential projects (hotels, hospitals ideal)
Strong knowledge of finishes, quality standards, and handover processes
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines
Trade background preferred but not essential
