Overview

Threshold seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as a Fundraising Officer. This role plays a central part in fundraising relationships by providing donor care to loyal supporters and supporting multi-channel fundraising campaigns.


Base pay range

Reporting to: Head of Fundraising and Communications

Location: Dublin 7

Job Type: Full Time - Monday to Friday


Responsibilities

* Donor Care, Support & Retention: Support the development and retention of donors, lead on campaigns while also assisting with proposals for trusts, foundations, and corporate partners, delivering best-practice stewardship and developing strategies to enhance donor loyalty and retention.
* Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare financial and impact reports on fundraising activities and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and Salesforce.
* Digital Engagement: Identify and develop new income streams and maximise existing opportunities, including managing online fundraising platforms such as iRaiser, Benevity, idonate and ensuring optimum donor conversion through the Threshold website.
* Marketing Materials & Communications: Manage promotional materials, collaborate on fundraising content, appeals and newsletters, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the fundraising department.


Qualifications and Experience

* Minimum two years in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communicator with a warm, friendly, and empathetic manner.
* Ability to analyse data and prepare reports with excellent attention to detail.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and fundraising software (preferably Salesforce).


Post Conditions

* Full-time permanent position, subject to a 6-month probationary period.
* Flexible working arrangements, with some remote work permitted.
