Job Description
An Industrial Training Specialist is required for our pharmaceutical client. This is a 24-month contract. If you have experience in developing and delivering technical training programs, then this is the position for you.
THE ROLE:
* Design and deliver engaging technical training programs for maintenance technicians to enhance equipment uptime and performance.
* Develop competency frameworks and progression pathways aligned with site reliability goals.
* Mentor and coach technicians to build expertise in root cause analysis, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
* Lead reliability improvement initiatives using tools such as FMEA, RCA, and TPM.
* Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions that enhance equipment effectiveness.
* Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate losses impacting Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
* Support the deployment of digital tools and analytics to monitor and improve equipment performance.
* Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime, increasing throughput, and improving quality.
* Introduce innovative training methods including simulations, e-learning, and hands-on workshops.
* Stay well-informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies in reliability and maintenance.
* Foster strong, respectful relationships with the technician community to build trust and open communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
* 3-5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
