Key Responsibilities:
* Packing and Shipping Coordination:
* Ensure timely shipment preparation and coordination with logistics providers.
* Liaise with customer service teams to address customer concerns.
* Hazardous Materials Handling:
* Adhere to dangerous goods procedures when shipping hazardous materials.
* Documentation and Compliance:
* Verify and submit accurate shipment details and paperwork to logistics agents in a timely manner.
* Operations Optimization:
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Continuous Improvement:
* Develop and maintain knowledge of best practices and industry standards related to shipping and logistics.
Requirements:
* Education and Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Shipping.
* Certifications and Qualifications:
* IATA certification in shipping hazardous goods or similar qualification/experience.
* Technical Skills:
* Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and forklift driving experience.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Fridays: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
