The Role of a Senior Water & Wastewater Process Engineer is to lead and manage the process design of water and wastewater engineering solutions and proposals. This includes working within a multiple disciplinary process engineering team to provide process design solutions in all areas of water and wastewater treatment, primarily for municipal water authorities.
Responsibilities include preparing and overseeing preliminary and detailed design documents, engineering specifications, and performing calculations in support of water process engineering activities. Additionally, completing optioneering reports, pre- and post-project completion documentation must be done in accordance with company standards.
A key aspect of this role is coordination and scheduling the work of a team of project engineers of varying experience levels to ensure tender delivery and project process treatment design. Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality systems is also crucial.
This position requires a qualified engineer in environmental, chemical, or process engineering, or equivalent, with experience in municipal water/wastewater treatment. Strong data analysis and technical problem-solving capabilities are essential, as well as the ability to connect and develop relationships with equivalent team leaders and operational management.
