The Role and Key Responsibilities
The Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that BCMGlobal ASI Ltd. complies with the requirements set by the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulators. Working closely with the Compliance Manager, and into the Head of Compliance, they are tasked with helping to provide accurate, timely, and practical advice across the suite of regulations applying to the business' regulated activities in a fast-paced business environment.
* Managing the tracking and logging of correspondence, reporting, and communication with regulators, under the guidance of the Compliance Manager.
* Assisting with a range of internal and external reporting requirements.
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure smooth service delivery across the board.
* Helping to oversee the Conflicts of Interest policy and Upstream Horizon Scanning processes.
* Assisting with the development and delivery of Compliance training as needed.
* Supporting the Compliance Manager and Head of Compliance in providing advice and researching the application of regulatory requirements to ensure the delivery of sound and robust advice to the business.
* Supporting the DPO in managing escalations in Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), personal data breaches, and Supervisory Authority Complaints.
* Collaborate closely with the business to ensure compliance with Data Protection Legislation.
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, even under tight deadlines.
* Support ad-hoc Data Protection matters and helping to maintain an Internal Data Protection mailbox.
Experience and Requirements
* Experience in financial services, ideally with a focus in the areas of compliance, risk, audit, AML or control.
* A strong understanding of regulatory codes of conduct and how they apply to firms in the credit servicing space.
* Familiarity with credit servicing, banking processes, financial products, and systems.
* A knack for spotting compliance issues and finding effective solutions.
* Sound judgement in recognising the need to escalate matters for management awareness and attention.
* Familiarity with the facets of GDPR and Data Protection.
* Experience with GDPR Compliance would be advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders and building collaborative relationships.
