Paving and Walling - Dunboyne, Co. Meath
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Planner to join our operations team in a dynamic concrete paving manufacturing environment. With five production facilities under management, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and production flow to meet customer demand and optimise operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed production schedules across five manufacturing sites.
* Coordinate with site managers, logistics, and sales teams to align production plans with customer orders and delivery timelines.
* Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
* Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
* Adjust schedules in response to unforeseen delays, equipment breakdowns, or urgent orders.
* Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
* Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and capacity utilisation.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across all facilities.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in production planning, ideally within a manufacturing or construction materials environment.
* Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
* Proficiency in planning software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, scheduling tools).
* Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple teams and sites.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of concrete products or building materials is a plus.
