Chef De Partie Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Galway, Ireland. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for overseeing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
About the Role:
As a Chef de Partie, you will be working closely with our Sous Chefs and Head Chef to ensure smooth service and effective teamwork. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, managing your own section of the kitchen during service, and assisting in training and developing junior kitchen staff.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, adhering to menu specifications
* Manage your own section of the kitchen during service, ensuring efficient and timely food production
* Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff, helping to enhance their skills
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your section, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen. You should also have strong cooking skills, particularly in grill and seafood, excellent organisational and time management skills, and a passion for food and keen attention to detail.
