Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and innovative environment? Our client, a leader in the data centre industry, is seeking a passionate and skilled Data centre Infrastructure O&M Management Engineer (Electrical/HVAC) to join their team!
What You'll Do:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations and maintenance of our data centre suppliers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLA).
- Review and optimise operations and maintenance (O&M) plans for power systems, HVAC and BMS systems.
- Analyse energy usage data, making recommendations to enhance energy efficiency across the data centre.
- Coordinate with suppliers to implement thorough equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Oversee fault reports and monitor the resolution process, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Participate in the exciting development of infrastructure upgrades and expansion plans.
- Review and refine the supplier's operation and maintenance standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Ensure the data centre operates smoothly 24/7, managing emergency response measures effectively.
- Lead the internal O&M team, assigning tasks and evaluating performance to achieve excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to align the data centre's capabilities with business needs.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or HVAC Engineering.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in data centre operations and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of data centre power systems and HVAC operating principles, along with familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as an electrical engineer or HVAC engineer certification.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Exceptional supplier management capabilities and team leadership skills.
- Sharp analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and project management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and respond swiftly in emergency situations.
- A willingness to accept on-call work requests as needed.
