About this Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide personal care and emotional support to service users, supporting individuals with daily activities and promoting independence.
You will be responsible for creating a safe and comfortable environment that fosters trust and respect. This involves assisting with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom, as well as providing emotional support during times of stress or anxiety.
Your role will also involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing training and development programs that enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as dementia care, medication management, and end-of-life care.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in healthcare or a related field
* Diploma or degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., nursing, social work)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Basic life support certification (e.g., CPR, first aid)
