* As a Speech Therapist, you will conduct assessments and interventions for children and adolescents, delivering family-centred therapy in clinic settings and occasionally in the community.
* You will collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver, and enhance professional services, ensuring optimal service delivery.
* Support and advise colleagues within the clinical team to ensure seamless care provision.
* Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other service-related gatherings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making processes.
* Maintain accurate and confidential documentation using computerised clinical records systems.
* Engage in continuous professional development activities and contribute to CPD opportunities.
* Contribute to service development and occasional training workshops for parents and educators.
* Support promotional activities for service enhancement and media communications.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties associated with the role of a Paediatric Speech Therapist.
* Report directly to the Clinical Services Manager.
* Qualifications & Experience:
o Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech Therapy, validated for practice in Ireland.
o Ideally, a minimum of 2+ years of post-qualification experience in paediatric speech therapy, including working with children with additional needs such as neurodiverse conditions, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, and Down syndrome.
o ADIR and/or ADOS training desirable but not essential CORU Registration essential.
o Garda Vetting clearance and satisfactory references are required.
o Access to own car for travel purposes, including school visits.
o Demonstrated passion for paediatric speech therapy with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
