Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. This 12-month contracting position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in Facilities, Utilities, Construction, or Pharmaceutical Processing.
The Role:
* Work safely and adhere to all mandatory policies, standards, and procedures.
* Support and adhere to personnel and manufacturing policies and procedures.
* Implement the Change Control Management System for process changes and new systems.
* Drive change by assessing opportunities, presenting proposals, gaining support from key stakeholders, assembling relevant team members, obtaining finance, and managing budgets.
* Write Design Specifications and complete IQ/OQ/PQ activities as part of project execution.
* Perform risk management, translate results into action, and execute implementation plans.
* Prioritize workload to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.
* Perform other engineering duties to support operation as required.
* Take ownership of projects, participate in audits, present to visitors as Subject Matter Expert, and work proactively with internal and external cross-functional team members and third-party service providers.
Requirements:
* Primary degree-level education in Engineering (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
* Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
* Project Management training.
* Experience in Construction/Facility systems/Utility systems/Pharmaceutical Processing.
* Commissioning experience.
* Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical device industries.
