Project Manager - Fixed Term
This is a key fixed-term project at Cental Engineering, requiring the management of all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will lead and manage the project team to meet project objectives and timelines. They will act as the central point of contact between various departments, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and seamless project integration into the overall operational framework of Cental Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and deliverables. Coordinate with the Site Manager to align project goals with company objectives.
* Budget and Resource Management: Develop and maintain the project budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources. Identify and allocate appropriate resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) to ensure timely project completion.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth project execution. Lead regular project meetings, including Tier Communication sessions, to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
* Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans. Manage issues as they arise, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize project delays.
* Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables meet Cental Engineerings quality standards and safety regulations. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
* Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed project reports to the Site Manager, highlighting key metrics, milestones, and risks. Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and communication logs.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Project Management Certification is highly desirable.
* 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in a heavy-engineering, Construction or modular build environment.
