About the Role
The role involves working cross-functionally to develop and implement a strategic asset reliability plan that supports both corrective and preventative maintenance, ensuring all Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability goals are met.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and manage a team of Area leads and PPM maintenance technicians for your plant to provide optimum equipment reliability to support the manufacturing operations.
* Build skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with the latest modern practices.
* Provide leadership and coaching to the engineering team towards the implementation of Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working, delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
* Implement PM (Progressive Maintenance), CBM (condition-based monitoring), Visual controls & tools management, Lubrication management, and Calibration of equipment(s).
* Conduct Breakdown/root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and develop effective corrective actions.
* Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, aligning priorities to deliver the company objectives and goals.
* Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential reliability issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns and develop strategies to improve equipment reliability.
* Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to proactively identify and address potential equipment failures.
Qualifications
* Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Manufacturing)
Required Skills
* Extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing.
* Extensive experience in Continuous Improvement.
* Data collection and analytic skills using Manufacturing intelligence systems.
* Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
* Demonstrated abilities in Data Analytics, problem solving, and team building.
* Strong people management skills with the ability to drive change.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies.
