We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. In this role, you will ensure system reliability, scalability, and security while supporting critical business operations.
You will work closely with DevOps, security, and support teams to maintain high-performing infrastructure and implement modern solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems (servers, networks, cloud)
Manage and support Windows and Linux environments
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
Implement and maintain virtualization platforms
Support cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
Implement security best practices and system hardening
Document infrastructure architecture and operational procedures
Required Skills (Detailed)
Windows Server & Active Directory: Strong experience managing Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP in enterprise environments
Linux Administration: Hands‑on experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar), including system configuration and troubleshooting
Virtualization Technologies: Experience with VMware (vSphere/ESXi) or Microsoft Hyper‑V, including deployment and management of virtual machines
Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
Cloud Platforms: Experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, including compute, storage, and networking services
Infrastructure Monitoring & Performance: Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning to ensure data protection and system resilience
Scripting & Automation: Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating routine tasks and improving efficiency
Version Control & Collaboration: Familiarity with Git and working in structured IT environments
Preferred Skills
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Experience in MSP or enterprise environments
Understanding of IT security and compliance frameworks
Certifications (At Least One Preferred)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in infrastructure, system engineering, or related roles
