Job Title: Telesales Team Lead/ Sales Support Administrator

Department: Sales

Reports to: Head of Sales and Communication

About the Company:

DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 36 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Purpose of the role:

The Telesales Team Lead & Sales Administrator plays a dual critical role, providing essential administrative support to the sales department while also leading and guiding the telesales team. This position ensures the smooth operation of sales processes, accurate reporting, and the achievement of telesales targets through effective coaching and management.

Job Responsibilities:

Telesales Team lead:

* Oversee the daily operations of the telesales team, including managing holidays, absence, remote working arrangements, and providing support for apprenticeship programs where applicable.
* Drive the achievement of telesales targets by actively managing and reporting on the team's sales pipeline and new business target.
* Monitor team's performance on call and email rate.
* Manage the telesales pipeline, focusing on optimizing conversion rates and ensuring a healthy flow of qualified leads.
* Preparing team performance report for SMT meetings.
* On-boarding new team members as required.
* Supporting, coaching and developing the team as sales professionals..

Sales Administration:

* Accurately generate and review the sales and commission reports.
* Produce daily sales performance reports e.g. New trades report
* Oversee data entry into Salesforce ensuring all sales information is up-to-date and compliant with established Salesforce processes.
* Act as a key liaison for new account setups, providing comprehensive administrative support and coordination with depot teams to ensure a seamless experience.
* Professionally and efficiently handle customer sales inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and resolving issues.
* Supporting the sales team with managing the end-to-end administrative process for new account creation, including documentation, system updates, and internal communications.

The above list is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Experience Required:

* 2 yearsdemonstratable experience in team lead role with strong sales administration experience.
* Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).

Qualifications Preferred:

* Certificate in Team Leadership or Managing People desirable.

Skills Required:

* Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and sales cycle management.
* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop a telesales team, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Can work discretely with sensitive and confidential information.
* Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and sales strategies.
