Overview
National Account Executive opportunity with a leading FMCG organisation. The role involves supporting National Account Managers who liaise with customers (e.g., Dunnes, Tesco, Musgraves) and working with cross-functional teams across the UK offices. There is clear potential for career progression, including a path to National Account Manager after 12-18 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily contact with accounts and Supply Chain personnel
* Review and processing of customer orders within agreed delivery lead time
* Order tracking and updating relevant files with order details
* Highlight potential issues to NAMs regarding orders (stocks & shorts)
* Prepare and submit promotional submissions to accounts by deadlines
* Communicate volume forecast changes to the Demand Planner (Supply Chain)
* Set up promotional pricing and update relevant account files with confirmation
* Coordinate with Demand Planners on APO system changes
* Manage promotional reviews and ensure updates on all files during the promotion week
* Maintain annual and monthly calendars for each customer account with forward view
* Monitor promotion forecasts and communicate changes to ensure alignment with plan
* Review pricing claims for validity and escalation to NAM for sign-off
* Manage daily/weekly customer forecast versus actual orders and highlight variances to Demand Planners
* Complete other requests deemed necessary by the National Account Manager
* Establish and develop relationships with internal and external peers
Key Requirements
* 2-3 years FMCG/Retail experience as an Account Executive
* Strong commercial, analytical and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail is essential
* Strong Excel and Word skills
