Preoperative Assessment Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team in the preoperative assessment department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* To take comprehensive histories from patients and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, TVN, and other healthcare professionals.
* To coordinate appropriate pre-operative investigations, manage abnormal findings as required, and ensure accurate electronic health records documentation according to hospital policies.
* To develop strong relationships with patients and their families by communicating discharge planning information effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A current registration in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
2. 12 months acute hospital experience within the last two years (preferably)
