The role
The Manager role is focused on leading financial due diligence engagements and taking ownership of key workstreams across transaction‑related assignments. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, management teams and senior colleagues to deliver high‑quality analysis and insights, while also supporting junior team development and contributing to the continued growth of the Deal Advisory practice.
Key responsibilities
Manage the day‑to‑day delivery of financial due diligence assignments for corporate, private equity and lender clients across a broad range of sectors;
Take ownership of key workstreams, including earnings analysis, working capital assessments, cash flow review, debt and debt‑like analysis, and the identification of transaction risks and value drivers;
Coordinate with clients, target management, advisers and internal specialists to ensure information requests are progressed efficiently and reports are delivered to a high standard;
Review and guide the work of junior team members, providing support, direction and quality control across engagements;
Support directors and partners in presenting findings to clients, highlighting key issues, commercial implications and potential deal considerations; and
Contribute to client relationship development, proposal preparation and the continued growth of the due diligence offering within Deal Advisory.
The successful candidate will ideally have
Strong experience in transaction services, financial due diligence environment, with a track record of leading engagements;
A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent;
Solid financial analysis, report writing and project management capabilities;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial findings clearly to a range of stakeholders; and
A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
