The BMS Engineer will work closely with Automation and IT teams and will be responsible for management of building management systems on site.Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and/or review SDLC deliverables including but not limited to:Requirements SpecificationsRequirements Traceability MatrixFunctional SpecificationDesign SpecificationCode ReviewTest specification/test scriptQBMS and nQBMS software design and developmentQBMS and nQBMS hardware requirements and designWork closely with the onsite BMS team and external vendors to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.Participate in Hardware and Software FATs and SATs.Develop and execute Automation Change Controls.Develop and execute onsite BMS team related projects.Provide input to the development of project schedules and document trackers.Participate in, and support, relevant project and BMS sustaining role meetings.Liaise with onsite BMS team on the overall sustaining, maintenance and continuous improvement of the QBMS and nQBMS System.Requirements:Relevant Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalentStrong experience in Trend BMS within life science would be an advantage, experience of Siemens Desigo CC, Xworks and PX controllers would be beneficial as would utility systems experience on Chilled water, Hot water and steam generation systems.Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.Technical proficiency on controls systems including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring and PLC control systemsFluent in English, written and verbal.Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of the following Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and a customer centred approach to projects is a pre-requisite.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Process Engineering, IT or related Manufacturing Engineering.Candidates must be legally entitled to work and reside in Ireland to be considered for this particular role.Rockbrook Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and all applications received are treated with the strictest confidentiality.
