A leading global healthcare manufacturer is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join its Sligo facility on the evening shift. This role is ideal for an experienced people manager with a background in regulated manufacturing who thrives on driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations & Supply Chain Senior Manager, you will lead production teams across moulding, extrusion, assembly, and warehouse operations. You'll ensure high standards of performance, compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support production teams to meet performance, quality, and delivery targets.
2. Oversee day-to-day operations, addressing issues, optimising line performance, and implementing corrective actions.
3. Ensure strict adherence to GMP, quality procedures, and safety standards.
4. Manage time, attendance, and development of team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
5. Promote continuous improvement, change management, and cost efficiency.
6. Collaborate with planning and management to support scheduling, validation, process optimisation, and capital projects.
7. Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring zero-accident standards and full EHS compliance.
About You
8. Relevant third-level qualification.
9. Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a GMP/regulated manufacturing environment.
10. Proven people management skills with ability to motivate and develop teams.
11. Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
12. Flexible, proactive, and innovative approach to work.
