Senior Test Automation Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in software and hardware testing, including hands-on experience in C# development.
This role requires strong technical leadership, a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in medical devices and ISTQB certification are highly desirable.
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases using C#.
* Lead feature verification, formal acceptance testing, and validation of software-hardware integrated systems.
* Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
* Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and quality metrics.
* Troubleshoot and validate prototypes, subsystems, and production systems.
* Take ownership of specific system areas, contributing to design, planning, and implementation.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to cross-site technical leadership and planning.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 6+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
* Proficiency in C# and experience with test automation frameworks.
* Strong understanding of software development and hardware systems (electronics/mechanical).
* Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC best practices.
* Proven ability to write and review test plans, test cases, and technical documentation.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience in medical device development or other regulated industries.
* ISTQB certification or equivalent.
* Experience in design planning, implementation, and long-term technology road mapping.
