They are looking to bring on a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Dublin team to support their month end close process and other critical aspects of the accounting calendar.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong technical foundation and exceptional attention to detail. This role plays a key part in supporting the month-end close process and broader accounting operations within a dynamic, high-performing finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers, and general ledger reconciliationsMaintain a detailed understanding of various European payrollsReview revenue transactions and contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognitionSupport the implementation of new financial systems and processesCalculate and review royalty payments to ensure accuracyAssist with financial statement auditsPerform ad hoc financial and operational analysis as requiredAbout YouStrong accounting fundamentals with a keen eye for detailProactive communicator with strong interpersonal skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvementOpen to learning, adapting, and contributing ideasExperience & SkillsACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification preferredExperience within a US multinational environment is advantageousMinimum 5 years’ relevant experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree)Solid understanding of US GAAP and European GAAPKnowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 preferred)
