We are presently recruiting for a Clinical Field Service Engineer to cover the Leinster region for our clients, a medical devices company. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues, and training healthcare staff on equipment usage.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
2. Perform maintenance and repair services.
3. Install and optimise hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
4. Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
5. Proactively respond to potential equipment issues.
6. Adhere fully to the quality standards required for ISO certification.
7. Manage stock control of spare parts and consumables.
Qualifications and experience:
1. 3rd level qualification in electronic engineering / mechatronics.
2. 2+ years experience in a similar position.
3. Strong technical problem solving and fault-finding skills.
4. Experience working with the primary care or medical device sectors is desirable.
