Lending Manager Required
Job Summary
The Lending Manager will be responsible for supporting the CEO in developing and implementing a growth strategy and delivering income targets, aligned with the strategic plan. The role will involve monitoring KPIs and ensuring alignment to operational business goals.
About This Role
The Lending Manager will have overall responsibility for the management and efficient operation of the lending function across the credit union, including in-branch, online, and phone channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of a growth strategy and deliver income targets, aligned with the strategic plan
* Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment to operational business goals
* Manage and operate the lending function across the credit union, including in-branch, online, and phone channels
Requirements
* Third level business degree or equivalent
* Relevant qualification in financial services (QFA, lending, SME lending, Agri-lending, mortgages, etc.)
* Central Bank minimum competency requirements (MCR)
* Qualification in business or management is preferable
* Significant underwriting experience and skills in personal, business, Agri, or mortgage lending
* Minimum 5+ years' lending management experience
* Strong understanding of operations in a retail and back-office (online and phones) financial services business
* Significant experience in people management, performance management, leadership, and team management
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to contribute effectively as a member of the senior management team
* Strong business and commercial acumen and understanding of the evolving credit union business model
* Organised, focused, and driven individual
* Highly computer literate with ability to query, analyse, interpret, and report on efficiencies, effectiveness, and trends
