We are seeking an experienced Development Operations Manager to lead and manage our International Development Team for new hotel feasibility, acquisition, and construction projects. This strategic role will support the General Counsel and Chief Development Officer in driving the Development team's performance, ensuring seamless coordination across projects, teams, and stakeholders. The role focuses on process optimisation, reporting, and legal oversight, playing a key part in aligning development activity with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Report to General Counsel and manage the Development department's processes and procedures.
- Assist in implementing the growth strategy, supporting the Chief Development Officer, General Counsel, and Development Directors.
- Co-chair and coordinate weekly Development meetings with analyst support.
- Oversee analysts in communicating pipeline and development updates to teams, including the CEO, Design, Projects, and Technical.
- Organise quarterly development meetings for the wider team.
- Monitor the design guides' development for both brands from cost and delivery perspectives.
- Collaborate with General Counsel and Development Directors to prepare and/or update department templates and reporting activities, ensuring accountability.
- Support General Counsel in processing the Agreement for Lease and Lease legal documentation.
- Lead on the preparation and maintenance of an asset management legal tracker, capturing key information and dates relating to each SCG asset.
- Refine and optimise departmental processes to enhance productivity, including AI for feasibility assessments and new pipeline tools.
- Manage the department's conference budget & attendance.
- Monitor brand design standards from a cost and delivery perspective.
Qualifications:
- Degree in management, real estate, design, architecture, or construction-related disciplines.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are a plus.
Experience:
- Significant experience (10+ years) in development operations, real estate, hospitality, or project coordination roles within high-growth or complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting C-suite stakeholders and aligning departmental outputs with broader business strategy.
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership or strategic support capacity within a development, legal, or project management setting.

- Skilled in legal coordination, documentation, and compliance.
