Building Envelope Technologies, Ireland's leading air tightness, building performance & compliance specialists, is seeking a Domestic BER Assessor with the opportunity to progress into Non-Domestic BER Assessments. We offer funded support to help you achieve Non-Domestic Assessor status as part of your career development.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct domestic BER assessments and produce reports.
* Carry out building surveys and ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
* Calculate U-values and perform condensation risk analysis.
* Advise clients on energy efficiency and building compliance.
* Progress to Non-Domestic BER Assessor status with our support.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Have:
* Level 6 Qualification in Construction/Engineering/Architecture/Sustainability.
* Registered Domestic BER Assessor with SEAI.
* Strong IT skills including AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.
* Full clean driving licence & willingness to travel to client sites.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator.
Nice to Have (But Not Essential):
* Experience with Non-Domestic BER assessments (opportunity for funded training if not yet qualified).
* Knowledge of TGD Part L & F (NZEB).
* 2 years of experience in a similar role.
