Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Driver to join our team at Hannon Transport in Mayo. As a Rigid Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our clients throughout the Mayo area.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate a rigid vehicle to deliver goods to various locations in Mayo
* Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery
* Load and unload goods from the vehicle
* Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
* Keep accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise
* Perform regular vehicle maintenance and inspections
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Follow company safety protocols at all times
* Other duties as assigned by the company
Requirements
* Valid Rigid Driving License
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rigid Driver
* Good knowledge of the Mayo area
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
* Clean driving record
* Flexibility to work long hours and weekends, if needed
