Early morning, late evening and weekend work will be required.Job DescriptionThis is an exciting and diverse role within the Stella Cinemas team. The role will have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the box office and events functions at Stella Cinema. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for cinema and film looking to progress within the industry.Responsibilities· Box OfficeActing as the main point of contact for all incoming phone and email enquiries. This includes responding to all customer emails, phone calls and distributing enquiries to the relevant team members.Running the phone ticket booking and reservations service. Ensuring that all bookings are completed accurately and booking details are communicated to guests in a timely manner.Acting as a customer service representative for Stella Cinemas in all communications. Always seeking to enhance the guest experience.Investigating and troubleshooting any ticketing or payment issues reported by guests or by the duty management team.Responsible for the weekly reporting of Box Office sales figures to film distribution companies.Monitoring ticket availability, managing house ticket holds and ensuring all locked tickets are monitored.Assisting with gift card queries and directing queries to Making bookings for tickets and table reservations.Managing guest requests and communicating any booking notes to the operations team.Placing Films on sale.Creating Ticket types, tags, price cards and any other functions required for ticket sales.· Administration and CommunicationsResponding to all customer reviews, feedback and complaints. Escalating, where necessary, to the management team.Maintaining and updating communications templates, FAQ's, customer notices and box office policy documents.Invoicing and tracking payments for group ticket bookings and coordinating invoicing for events.Monitoring the Stella Cinemas website to ensure information is accurate and up to date and reporting any issues to the management team.Compiling and disseminating daily, weekly and monthly reports for the management team.Responding to messages and comments on social media in a timely manner.Ensuring that in-venue collateral is correctly displayed and relevant.· EventsSupporting the bookings manager on all private hire and group bookings/events in Stella Rathmines.Responding to inbound event enquiries by email and phone.Invoicing and tracking payments for events. Ensuring that all event charges are correctly processed through the POS.Liaise with external event bookers and suppliers as a point of contact for Stella. Covering site visits, get ins/outs, event days and photoshoots.Liaise with the kitchen to confirm any event food requirements in a timely manner.Correctly input event data through the CRM system.Compile event briefs prior to all events and share with venue management teams in a timely manner.Ensure private hire information: menus, costs, terms and conditions etc, are correct and up to date.Act as event day point of contact and provide operational support.Covering projection for events to include managing bespoke on-screen content, slide shows and sound and lighting changes. Be available to troubleshoot any projection issues with events across Stella locations.· OtherProvide holiday cover as required for projection, events and marketing.Provide operational cover to the cinema duty manager team as required.Requirements· A minimum of 2 years customer service and events experience.· Very strong communication skills. Confident and courteous phone manner. Attention to detail in all written communication.· Experience in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.· Experience using ticketing or reservations systems.· Experience using social media platforms.· Experience working in a cinema or theatre environment is a plus.· Ability to work well as part of a team.· A passion for film and hospitality.· Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Eclective Hospitality Group owns and operates over 20 venues in Ireland, in certain instances we may feel your skills and experience may suit another role we have available.
