Accounts Assistant (Hybrid) — Salary €40,000 per annum • Location: South Co. Wicklow | Hybrid (2 days WFH after probation) • Contract: Full-time, Permanent • Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch), Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)

About the Role
The Accounts Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing high-volume transactions, and supporting the wider finance and operations teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes and supporting the business through timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Process customer invoices, issue monthly statements, and manage credit control.
* Maintain debtor ledgers and verify delivery and logistics costs.
* Reconcile stock, batch numbers, and landed costs.
* Manage multi-currency transactions (EUR/GBP/USD) and support month-end reporting.
* Support financial reporting and liaise with internal teams including Sales, Purchasing, and Operations.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounts assistant role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Strong understanding of stock control, batch numbers, and landed costs.
* Proficiency in Sage 200 (or similar ERP system) and strong Excel skills.
* Multi-currency experience (EUR/GBP/USD).
* Desirable - Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent.
