Overview As a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer at Ethos Engineering, you will work within the Data Centre sector.
You should have a thorough grasp of electrical design and engineering techniques, with the ability to work independently and in support of the team to ensure successful completion of designs to meet construction timelines and requirements.
About you Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential10+ years as a Senior Engineer Must have electrical building services design experience within Data Centre engineering projects In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards Working knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantage Confident leading projects from the concept stage to completion Communicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers Manage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects Excellent Microsoft Office skills Your day-to-day activities Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors Produce detailed schematics Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation Mentor junior engineering staff Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion Tender report/analysis/recommendations Develop project scope with the design team/client Confidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVITProduce budgets and reports for clients Attend site visits Take lead on projects with minimal input from the management team Why Join Us?At Ethos, we're dedicated to fostering an environment that encourages both technical excellence and personal wellbeing.
