The Purpose of the Role
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will provide health and safety guidance, auditing, and training to a team of operators and technicians in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while supporting the Customer in key areas throughout the manufacturing process.
Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality.
Your success will contribute to the facilities' overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.

Work Schedule
12 hour shifts to cover 7 days (Sunday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Thursday) alternating Wednesdays shift pattern.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation of the Customer's Ireland EHS program at site level: leadership engagement, customer EHS point of contact, deliver instructor-led Life Saving Rules training, monitor EHS KPIs, establish key safety focus areas forsite.
Manage and interpret EHS-related documentation, including but not limited to: the Customer's safety documentation & procedures, safety indicators (leading/lagging), incident logs (near miss/good catch, injury, and environment)
Perform thorough incident investigations to ensure actions are put in place to prevent furtheroccurrence.
Provide sustaining support for the fieldoperations team (safety review board support, permit to work reviews etc.)
Create and effectively distribute toolbox talks, safety communications, and informational presentations.
Engage closely with the site managementteam.
Perform in-fab GEMBA walks (behavioral safety observations) in partnership with operationsteams.
Partner, collaborate, and communicate with customer on safety programinitiatives.
Work with EU EHS Manager to land Top-X structural safety issues towards VHV and trackprogress.
Role Requirements
Relevant qualification in EHS / Safety Management or equivalent
2+ years of experience working in a EHS environment
Previous knowledge Semi-conductor Manufacturing Environment is a plus
Implementing an EHS Management System – procedures, training and coaching of departments to ensure compliance
Excellent written communication skills in English
Flexibility to travel on short term assignments related to the role
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment
100% compliance with all safety and protocol specs and regulations
Physical Requirements
Have strong physical stamina to have the ability to stand, stoop, walk and reach for the duration of an 8-hour working day (breaks excluded)
