Overview
Maintenance Painter role at Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel – Facilities Department. This is a full-time position as part of the Facilities team.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standard and that painted areas are refreshed regularly.
* Carry out duties in line with the departmental Standards Manual (Leading Quality Assurance).
* Provide professional and courteous communication for telephone and email enquiries within the hotel.
* Be aware of menu updates, hotel promotions, corporate promotions, or specials and be knowledgeable about product introductions.
* Carry out cleaning as required and liaise with other departments to attend to guest requests efficiently.
* Rectify maintenance issues daily and monitor/control costs including energy saving.
* Conduct regular hotel inspections to identify maintenance requirements and ensure guest safety by eliminating risks and hazards.
* Check and replace fire extinguishers as needed and monitor purchasing in line with hotel policy.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and visitors; ensure equipment is operated per trained instructions and kept clean.
* Use and store hazardous substances per trained instructions; wear protective clothing as required.
* Prioritize and complete jobs according to departmental standards and inform guests or managers if timelines cannot be met.
* Ensure bedrooms are checked on a rota basis and maintenance issues are corrected; assist the Facilities Manager with the Preventative Maintenance program.
* Ensure public areas are checked daily and maintenance issues are resolved promptly.
