ICON is seeking a Financial Accountant II – ICON Finance Projects (18 months fixed-term) to join our dynamic finance team and play a pivotal role in our global transformation program .
This position is ideal for a qualified accountant who thrives in a project-based environment and can represent General Ledger (GL) Finance in cross-functional project management meetings.
You will ensure that finance requirements are embedded into technical and business designs while driving collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
This job role is Office Hybrid - 60% office-based in Leopardstown, Dublin 18; 40% remote.
The Role Represent GL Finance in cross-functional project management meetings, ensuring finance requirements are understood and implemented.
Act as a key liaison between finance and other business units during transformation initiatives.
Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including Group Finance, Tax, Legal, IT, and Internal Audit to deliver project plans Support FSCP and US GAAP close processes across the GL finance function Identify, develop project management experience or exposure is highly desirable .
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle Financials is a plus.
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
